Measureables: 6’3″ 235 LBs

Can’t say enough great things about his kid. The Wake Forest senior LB checks all of the boxes and then some for a linebacker needy Philadelphia Eagles team. Strnad has the size, speed, strength, IQ, and importantly the heart to be an All-Pro linebacker at the level. He was the heart of the Deac’s defense and was responsible for playcalling and geting everyone in position pre-snap. He finished his 4 year playing career with 244 tackles, 22.5 TFL, 8 sacks, 4 INTs, 10 PBU, and 3 FF. His instincts and next level motor will take him far in the league. Graded out as the top LB in the ACC even over the highly touted Justin Simmons who really grabbed attention in the National Championship; however, if you gave the other Justin the same stage, he’d be on everyones radar as well.

  • a quick decision-maker and will make commit before a play has a chance to develop;
  • great in space;
  • relentless, great feet, gap shooting A+, beloved by teammates and coaches.

Weaknesses

  • Coming off an injury but he is nearly recovered;
  • level of competition in some minds but he played well against the big dogs;
  • some times will shoulder tackle rather then wrap up
