Injury Update: Eagles RB Miles Sanders WILL play vs. Seahawks

3 January 2020 Uncategorized

With all the injuries this Philadelphia Eagles team faced this season, sometimes a little victory is a big one. And, for the Eagles, this injury news is a very big victory.

Going into this Sunday, the Eagles are hosting their first playoff game since 2017 and they’re without a few key players. However, they’re not going to be without their star rookie running back Miles Sanders.

Speaking to reporters today, Sanders told them he’s playing. He suffered an ankle injury last Sunday versus the New York Giants. All week, he was limited in practice due to ankle swelling, but he’s a full go this Sunday.

With Sanders in the team, the Eagles have a dynamic playmaker who can change the game with one run. Having a player with that ability in a playoff game is huge for the Eagles. Before his injury in the previous two games, Sanders totaled over 150 yards in each game.

Make no mistake about it, this is a very big boost for the Eagles, especially since all week he was a question mark. With him and Boston Scott in the backfield, the Eagles will have a significant advantage in the run game.
