Eagle injury report: The latest on WR DeSean Jackson, DT Tim Jernigan and CB Avonte Maddox going into Sunday’s game vs. Bears

It’s been three weeks since the Philadelphia Eagles played a game at the Linc and with Sunday just around the corner, the teams health going into this one is very promising.

Thursday injury report is usually a good indication of who’s going to be on the field come Sunday. It’s been too long of a list most of the season, but this time around, it’s not so bad.

Rookie running back Miles Sanders, who electrified last Sunday versus the Buffalo Bills with his 65 yard touchdown was a full participant in practice. He left the game with a shoulder injury but he’ll be good to go. Defensive end Josh Sweat and cornerback Avonte Maddox were full as well. They’re two players the Eagles will love having back on their dm defense on Sunday.

However, the big news is both wide receiver Desean Jackson and defensive tackle were limited. They were both ruled out of last Sunday versus the Bills at this point last week. They’re very hopeful at the least Jackson returns to the offense on Sunday. There’s no saying Jernigan will be back, but he’s hopeful he’ll be on the field as well.

With the Eagles bye week looming it’s a tough call to risk a player who’s coming back from injury. But, it’s a winning league and with a fully healthy team, the Eagles are dangerous. As this team gets healthy, watch out NFL.!
