Rumor has it, the Philadelphia Eagles have reached out to the Buffalo Bills regarding a trade for running back LeSean McCoy.
The #Eagles have reached out to the #Bills about a possible trade for LeSean McCoy, per source. Philly just lost RB Jay Ajayi for the season due to a torn ACL. McCoy spent the first 6 seasons of his career with the Eagles and is the franchise all-time leading rusher.

After clearing cap space yesterday, restructuring Fletcher Cox’s contract, the Eagles have the cap room to do so. Bringing McCoy back would surely bolster the Eagles run game. McCoy is 30 years old, but is coming off of a 1,138 yard and six touchdown year for the Bills. He definitely has more to give.
The Eagles’ all time leading rusher would love to reunite with his hometown team. He should have never been traded away and a return would be great for the Eagles and him.
With Jay Ajayi out for the season, the Eagles definitely need to add another running back into the mix. McCoy is a cheaper option who can add a lot to the team.
Will this move happen? Right now it’s just a rumor, however, there’s no reason to be against it. The Eagles need a spark and all his career, Shady McCoy has created one.
