ESPN Analyst: “I’d much rather have Foles” than any of the NFL draft’s top QB prospects
7 March 2018 NFL News & Updates
Tuesday on ESPN’s Pardon The Interruption, Mike Wilbon and Tony Kornheiser discussed the rumors regarding what Eagles were willing to trade Nick Foles for (currently starting at an offer similar to what they recieved in the Sam Bradford to Vikings deal.)
During the segment, Mike and Tony spoke about the track record of the Super Bowl-winning MVP quarterback and both agreed that Eagles were not insane to want a high return in exchange for Foles this offseason.
In fact Wilbon stated, “I’d much rather have Foles” when referring to the 1st round pick an NFL team would need to draft a QB or give up in order to make a trade possible with the Eagles front office.
Some find it to be too much to ask of other teams but honestly, I agree with Wilbon. You know what Foles is capable of. He didn’t just manage the NFC Championship or Super Bowl games. He was a large contributing factor for the Eagles to win those games.
Howie knows the value of this MVP player and isn’t going to rush a trade unless the value is correct.
