REPORT: Eagles offered 2nd round pick for Nick Foles
5 March 2018 Eagles News
It’s the most wonderful time of the year. NFL trade talks and rumors are beginning to circulate as teams are all in Indianapolis for the NFL combine. One trade talk included a 2nd round pick in exchange for Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles. This news is being reported by FanRag Sports’ Geoff Mosher.

Mosher’s report is most specific to what Eagles have been offered so far; however, several others have come out about what Eagles are expecting to receive if they decided to deal their backup quarterback including MMQB’s Peter King. In King’s article Monday morning he writes, “The Eagles got first- and fourth-round picks for Sam Bradford 17 months ago and feel Foles is better, so it’ll likely take at least that to pique their interest, and that’s likely not happening.”
Eagles have fielded – not solicited – more than one inquiry and offer for Nick Foles. Eagles' basic answer is it's going to take more than the 1st and 4th round picks they got from Vikings for Sam Bradford. Foles is Super Bowl MVP and best insurance policy in NFL.

For now it seems that fielding interest is all Eagles are up to as it does not appear they will be accepting the 2nd round pick reportedly offered.
