Giants showing interest in CB Patrick Robinson

5 March 2018 Eagles News

The journeyman cornerback, Patrick Robinson, had a phenomenal year last year for the Eagles and now their division rival is showing interest.

The New York Giants are reported to have interest in Robinson, according to a source from NJ Advance Media.

With the Birds finding much success with the cost-effective Robinson(1 year, $775,000), the cash-strapped Eagles would love to bring Robinson back to the nest if they can afford him. The 30-year-old Robinson recorded 45 tackles, while tying a career-high four interceptions, adding in 18 pass deflections and a sack on the season.

The Giants plan to move DRC to safety to compete with starter Darian Thompson, which would leave room for Robinson to man the knickel role for the G-Men. On Friday, it was reported by Tony Pauline of DraftAnalyst.com that the Cardinals and the Raiders had interest in Patrick Robinson as well.

Look for Robinson to secure more than a one-year deal this time around during the off-season.
