Jeffery signed a 1-year deal in the 2017 offseason to join the Eagles after his career with the Chicago Bears. This news is great for the team as Wentz and Jeffery have proven to increase their chemistry.
The new deal is a sign of a promising future and sustained talent for Carson Wentz’ development. It solidifies a roster looking to win now and in the long term.

With his 1-year deal this year, Alshon Jeffery will earn about $10M. In his new extension, he gets $27M guaranteed from the #Eagles. That’s a $37M commitment, which isn’t bad for a player who hasn’t had a 1,000-yard season since 2014
