Eagles CB Ronald Darby says he WILL play this Sunday vs. Cowboys

13 November 2017 Eagles News

After being absent from the team since week one with an ankle injury he suffered versus the Washington Redskins, Eagles cornerback Ronald Darby is a full participant in practice and will play Sunday for the Eagles.

With the Eagles defense play at such a high level, it is uncertain if the Eagles will work him back in with the defense or start him right away. When asked about it today, Darby did not have an answer for the media, but it seems like the plan is to start him right away.

All three of the Eagles cornerbacks, Jalen Mills, Rasul Douglas and Patrick Robinson have been playing at a high level. You can argue that none of them deserve to be benched for Darby. However, what you cannot argue is that the Eagles secondary is even scarier with Darby in the mix.

Coming into the season, Darby was the only cornerback who was thought to be good. The emergence of the other three is only a positive for the team. With Darby in the mix, the Eagles secondary looks really good. It will be exciting to see Darby back on the field for the Eagles this Sunday versus the Dallas Cowboys.
