Eagles activate Beau Allen from NFI list

25 August 2017 Eagles News

According to NFLtraderumors.co, the Eagles have activated defensive tackle Beau Allen from the non-football injury list today after he passed his team physical.

This spring, Allen suffered a torn pectoral muscle, which caused him to miss training camp.

Report: Eagles DL Beau Allen suffers upper-body injury

Allen is a crucial member of the Eagles defensive line, so it is nice to see him get back to full fitness. Allen was a break out player last season. He filled in for the injured Bennie Logan and played great, it was like Logan was never missing. He managed 29 combined tackles and 0.5 sack. Although his statistics are not too impressive, he was a key figure in the run game.

Allen still has a little bit to go before he can get back on the field, but he is almost there. He might not play the first couple of weeks, but we will see Allen in an Eagles jersey this year.
