Bold Predictions: Eagles vs. Cowboys

27 December 2020 Uncategorized

It’s been Dallas week all week and today, it’s finally gameday. Being in the race for the division, this is a must win for the Eagles. Everything is in front of them it’s down for them to go out and perform.

And, if the last two games are any example, this Eagles team is hungry. They’re playing much better football and with a lot more energy. Let’s not even bring up last time these two met, both teams are much better now.

Knowing all of that, it’s time to lay out some predictions for today’s game. Last week, we predicted Jalen Hurts’ four touchdown day. We have a good mystic sense here at 4thandJawn, so without further ado, here’s today’s bold predictions.

  1. Miles Sanders run for 100+ and 2 touchdowns

Leighton Vander Esch and Atwaun Woods are out for the Cowboys. Those are two very good players against to run. Not to mention, with Hurts in the lineup it’s completely opened up the run game for Miles Sanders.  He’s averaging 89.5 rushing yards in his last two games; but here he’ll get more. Sanders is going to big in line for a big day.

2. Eagles defense racks up five sacks

The Cowboys defense has only given up 2.4 sacks a game this season. But, lately the Eagles have been hunting. They have six sacks in their last two games and against the Cowboys offensive line which is banged up, they’ll go on a wrecking path.

3. Jalen Reagor’s big day

DeSean Jackson is back, Alshon in the lineup, it’s setting up perfectly for Jalen Reagor. Last time against the Cowboys he scored his first touchdown. This time, he’ll have his first 100+ yard day. He’s going to ignite the Eagles offense.

The Eagles can set themselves up nicely for a battle for the division next week. They’ll need to win and have Washington lose. For them it’s one game at a time and the why they’re playing right now should put them in position for a nice day. Comment below with your bold predictions and as always, Go Birds!
