Well, it was a very exciting one to say the least.
The Philadelphia Eagles fall to the Arizona Cardinals 33-26 in one of the most fun games to watch as a birds fan this season. Although the win wasn’t there in the end, it was more about Jalen Hurts again.
Hurts stole the show for the Eagles. He threw for 338 passing yards, three touchdowns and rushed for 63 yards and one score. He was electric, it looked like there wasn’t anything he couldn’t do. With more playmakers around him, this offense will be very hard to stop going toward.
Other highlights on offense were Miles Sanders who had an effective day running with 64 rushing yards. He added another 26 receiving yards to his mix as well.
Jalen Reagor was productive catching five balls for 49 yards and other rookie Quez Watkins got his first touchdown on a beautiful run after the catch. Greg Ward was the other impact player on offense who caught two touchdown passes.
The defense had trouble stopping Kyler Murray and the Cardinals, but they did force three turnovers. With their secondary United, they honestly didn’t do too bad of a job.
Michael Jacquet deserves praise because he stepped up and did a nice job as CB1. They definitely didn’t do too bad especially after falling quickly down 16-0 to start the game.
The Eagles showed resiliency in defeat as they did battle back and almost win the game. Hurts is going to steal the show but the Birds didn’t have a bad outing. It’s a big positive for the Eagles even in loss. Stay tuned for more article this week here @4thandJawn.
