Instant Reaction: Eagles expected to sign RB Jordan Howard

19 November 2020 Uncategorized

A familiar face is back in the NovaCare Complex today for a visit and he’s expected to sign.

The Miami Dolphins just recently released running back Jordan Howard this past week. Howard was with the Eagles all last season, and he had a successful season until he got hurt.

In his time with the Eagles, he racked up 525 yards and six touchdowns, also adding 69 receiving yards and a touchdown. With him in the mix, the Eagles had a one two punch combo Howard and Miles Sanders.

With Howard back in the mix for the Eagles, they add another running back to add to their arsenal. Corey Clement has just been added to the Covid/reserve list, Sanders has been out with some injuries, adding some depth is never a bad thing.

Howard has to clear the Covid protocols before he can be added to the 53 man roster. So, it’s a doubt that he’ll play this Sunday for the Eagles. But, without a doubt, this is a good move for the Eagles.
