Against the Spread: Eagles vs. Giants

I’m here to win you money and if you listened to me last week, with the Philadelphia Eagles spread and the over, you would’ve won big. So, without further ado, here’s this weeks, against the spread!
Currently, the Eagles sit as -4.5 favorites against the New York Giants. The over/under is set at 44.5 points and the Eagles are out right favorites at -285.
With the Eagles covering the spread last week, that’s now only the second time they’ve done so this season. But here’s why the Eagles CAN cover.
The New York Giants are 0-3 on the road so far this season. It’s safe to say, they haven’t looked very good. They beat the Washington Football team last week 20-19 after the Football team went for two at the end to win the game.
Offensively, the Giants offense ranks 31st in the league in total yards. Offensively, they’re scoring just 15 points a game compared to opponents who score 25 points a game on them.
A little known fact is that the Giants are 4-2 when it comes to covering the spread in the past six meeting against the Eagles. But, those were much better Eagles teams given more points.
When it’s all said and done today, the Eagles will win this game by at least a touchdown. In fact, I’m predicting an 31-17 victory for the Eagles. So, I’m taking the points again and the over again. It’s going to be a short week game where defense isn’t going to be as sharp. With an Eagles offense getting healthier, they’ll score points tonight. Let’s ride!
