Against the spread: Eagles vs. Ravens
18 October 2020 Uncategorized
The fans are back at the Linc today when they take on the Baltimore Ravens. The lines are set so, let’s break them down.
The Eagles are +10 on DraftKings, an -375 underdog and the over/under is set at 46.5. They’re really betting against the Eagles at home.
Having only covered the spread once this season, it’s hard to go spread, but ten points is a lot of points. The biggest thing going against the Eagles favor is tight end Mark Andrews. They’ve given up 323 yards and five touchdowns already this season to opposing tight ends. It’s going to hard to find a reasoning to think they’ll slow him down.
With that being said, the Ravens are also only allowing 15.2 points against per game compared to their 29.8 point scored per game. Where as the Eagles are scoring 22 points per game and letting up 29 points. They’re set up to cover the spread, as their offense has been playing better. Ten points is a lot.
So, to conclude, I’m taking the points and I’m taking the over. Let’s ride, are you with me?
