The Eagles need to feed RB Miles Sanders this Sunday vs. Bengals

Yes, the Philadelphia Eagles’ offense hasn’t looked good this season, but this Sunday’s a new day and a new opportunity. And, with that being said, it’s time for them to get back on track. The best way to do so is to feed running back Miles Sanders.
In his season debut last week versus the Los Angeles Rams, Sanders rushed 20 times for 95 yards and one touchdown. He also turned in three receptions for 36 yards. No other running back got much work other than Sanders, he’s clearly their bell cow.
The matchup this week for Sanders is a juicy one. The Cincinnati Bengals are coming off of a game where they let up 215 rushing yards to the Cleveland Browns. Browns running back Nick Chubb alone rushed for 124 yards and two touchdowns.
Yes, the Eagles offensive line is beat up, but they looked good run blocking last week. And, to make matters better for them, the Bengals are down defensive tackle Geno Atkins again. Their defensive line is not anything special. There’s going to be run for Sanders and the Eagles to run.
With the passing game struggling, what’s the best thing for the Eagles to do? Get the run game going to take all pressure off the passing game. We’re talking about a Bengals team that ranks 30th against the run. The Eagles need to cut Miles Sanders lose and let him eat.
It’s time to get a w in the win column. Although everyone thought the Eagles would have a completely different looking passing game, it’s just not there now. What they can do is lean on the run and Miles Sanders. Against the Bengals Sunday, it’s got to be their focal point. Feed Miles Sanders.
