Roster Move: Eagles place three players on reserve/COVID-19 list
29 July 2020 NFL News & Updates Philadelphia Eagles
If these roster moves are any indication of how weird this season is going to be, then I don’t know what is.
The Philadelphia Eagles have placed right tackle Lane Johnson, linebacker Nate Gerry and tackle Joran Mailata to the reserve/COVID 19 list.

This news doesn’t come as a huge shocker as many players are opting out of the season. We would expect some players as they aren’t isolated to test positive for the coronavirus. For these players to comeback, they’ll have to follow the protocols, isolate themselves and test negative.
For now, the Eagles will have to move on without them as they aim to begin the first phases of their training camp. Hopefully they’ll be able to get these players back sooner than later.
