Report: Eagles WR Marquise Goodwin opting out of season

Well this isn’t good news for the Philadelphia Eagles. With the players allowed to rightfully opt out of this season with coronavirus affecting the United States. The Eagles are losing a recently acquired player.
According to Ian Rapoport, recently acquired wide receiver Marquise Goodwin is going to opt out of the season.

Health comes first and him opting out is totally respectable. Him and his wife just had a child not too long ago. Sometimes there are things that are bigger than football and this is one.
For the Eagles, although he wasn’t a lock to make the roster, his speed could be a big factor for the offense. With him opting out, it’s a big opportunity for John Hightower and Quez Watkins to make the team and have an impact.
