Is a Jason Peters reunion in the works for the Eagles?

30 April 2020 Uncategorized

It looks like they’ll be another reunion in Philadelphia.

According to Derrick Gunn of NBC Sports Philadelphia, left tackle Jason Peters wants a reunion and it’s looking like the two sides will work one out.

Here’s what he had to say on a recent appearance on Quick Slants.

“I do know for a fact that Jason Peters wants to be back in Philadelphia, the Eagles want Jason Peters here. It’s only a matter of time before they get something done.”

Peters, was playing some good football for the Eagles last season even after coming back from numerous recasting injuries. The man has found a way to recover and return to form, it’s astounding.

With reports that the Eagles aren’t impressed with Andre Dillard’s progression, this move to bring Peters back is a smart one. Not only can Peters play for the Eagles, he’s there to mentor Dillard once again. You can never underestimate the value of having a guy like Peters around.

Leadership and good play is what you’ll get from Peters for another year. With a Dillard still in project in work and even a new quarterback to groom, a veteran like Peters is a great guy to have in the locker room.
