Report: Eagles in trade discussions with 49ers for WR Marquise Goodwin
23 April 2020 Eagles News
On the day of the draft, the Philadelphia Eagles are rumored to make a move for a current NFL wide receiver.
According to Natalie Egenolf of 97.5 the Fanatic, the Eagles are in discussions with the San Francisco 49ers for wide receiver Marquise Goodwin.
Goodwin, a known deep threat, has a career average of 16.6 yards per reception. He knows how to do one thing well; stretch the field. The Eagles desperately need a player of that quality and could get him cheaply.
The 49ers seem desperate to trade him. Injuries have really slowed down his career, but he still has some left in the tank. At 29 years old, the Eagles could still get a big year or two out of him for a cheap cost.
What could that cheat cost be? With three fourth round picks, it could be on of them? In return they could get the services of Goodwin and maybe a seventh round pick back. He’s due $4.9 million this season which could hurt his trade value.
