The Eagles are signing him to a two year deal worth $12 million. This move definitely gives them a little more stability at safety, especially after losing Malcom Jenkins.
Coming off of an injury last season, McLeod played really well for the Eagles. He combined for 76 tackles and had two interceptions.
It was very important for the Eagles to get this deal done. You cannot completely overhaul your secondary in one offseason. McLeod is a player who knows what it takes to play in Philadelphia and win. This is a move to get behind.
