Eagles make coaching staff additions, add former Broncos offensive coordinator Rich Scangarello and former Mississippi State pass game coordinator/quarterbacks coach Andrew Breiner

Well, finally, the Philadelphia Eagles have made some changes to their coaching staff.

It wasn’t the big move that Eagles fans were hoping for, however, for the Eagles, it all makes sense. The first move involves quarterback coach Press Taylor. He’ll now add passing game coordinator to his title. This move will give him more responsibility and a bigger involvement in the passing game.

The other big news is, the Eagles are adding in two new faces as well. They’ll be adding former Broncos offensive coordinator Rich Scangarello and former Mississippi State pass game coordinator and quarterbacks coach Andrew Breiner into the mix.

This is all going to benefit quarterback Carson Wentz. He has a couple of new people around him who’ll bring him new ideas and help him develop. And, the Eagles offense as a whole needed this. Get some fresh new ideas into their offense was going to be key this offseason and with these additions, that’ll surely help.

There’s still some work to be done with coaching staff and medical staff additions. However, if you’re the Eagles, this is a good start.
