Injury Update: Eagles G Brandon Brooks done for the season after suffering separated shoulder vs. Giants

30 December 2019 Uncategorized

It seems like after every game, we have to break news on another injury. Today, it’s regarding right offensive guard Brandon Brooks.

Yesterday, Brooks left the game early after injuring his shoulder on a special teams play. After undergoing scans it became clear, he’ll miss the rest of the season.

Losing Brooks is a big loss not just from the standpoint of his play on the field, he’s also a leader in the huddle. He’s been PFF’s number one rated offensive guard in the NFL. Obviously, he’s a great player, but the Eagles have to get it done without him.

Stepping up into his spot is guard Matt Pryor. Pryor’s a big athletic guard who did a nice job yesterday against a pretty good New York Giants defensive front.

The same motto that has fueled this team is back again, next man up. They’re in the playoffs and have a chance to make a run.
