Report: Tight end Zach Ertz suffered a fractured rib last night vs. Cowboys

Well, just like it has all season, the injury bug has hit the Philadelphia Eagles.
Last night against the Dallas Cowboys, early in the game, tight end Zach Ertz went up to catch a pass from Carson Wentz. The ball was thrown a little high and Ertz suffered a big hit into his ribs. Well, it turns out he fractured them.
Zach Ertz fractured a rib Sunday against the Cowboys, NFL source confirmed @RapSheet report. Tests still being done to evaluate the extent of the injury as Doug Pederson said earlier. The Pro Bowl TE is in significant pain, needless to say.

Ertz managed to come back into the game and do all he could to help his team win. He managed to finish the game with four passes for 28 yards. He was clearly effected by the injury while he was in, however, he still played and drew attention away from the other weapons.
With the game on the line, Ertz did everything he could do to fight for his team. Sometimes you have to make sacrifices which aren’t always the best for you, but for others. He put his team first, it was an admirable effort.
The team is still doing more tests to find out the extent of the injury. Players have played through this injury, but we don’t know if he’ll be on the field for the team this Sunday versus the New York Giants.
