Injury Report: WR Nelson Agholor, RB Jordan Howard and DE Derek Barnett are ruled OUT vs. Redskins

Another week and another game where the Philadelphia Eagles are short handed.
Going into their clash versus the Washington Redskins, the Eagles will be without running back Jordan Howard…..again. They’ll also be without wide receiver Nelson Agholor and defensive end Derek Barnett.
The #Eagles declared three players who were questionable — WR Nelson Agholor, DE Derek Barnett, and RB Jordan Howard — out for Sunday at the #Redskins.

Howard has been out since week 11 with a shoulder injury. Once again, the Eagles and their treatment of his injury should come into question. They’ve just declared it a stinger, so it’s hard to see how he hasn’t been able to come back from it yet.
Agholor injured his knee against the Minnesota Vikings. Having him banged up gives an opportunity for the younger, hungry wide receiver. It’ll be a big opportunity for those guys in Agholor’s absence.
For Barnett, he’ll miss another game with an ankle injury suffered versus the Miami Dolphins. Vinny Curry had a big game with Barnett off the field and so did second year man Josh Sweat.
For the Eagles, seeing their depth players step up and play with hunger and passion last week should give them a positive attitude going into this game. It’s another must win and another game the Eagles need their depth players to step up.
