Special teams and kicking are very important in the NFL and finding a good kicker is harder than you think. When you find one, it’s smart to hang onto him.
The Eagles did exactly that by signing kicker Jake Elliott to a five year extension worth around $21.8 million with $10.45 million in guaranteed.

Elliott has been a Eagles legend ever since his game winning field goal against the New York Giants in 2017. Currently, Elliott has a 17 consecutive field goal streak which is the longest in the NFL.
He’s here to stay in Philadelphia for the long haul. The Eagles won’t have to worry about their kicker for awhile.
