Roster Move: Eagles release WR Jordan Matthews

It’s another Monday roster move by the Philadelphia Eagles.
This time, the Eagles have released a player who they just brought back two weeks ago. Wide receiver Jordan Matthews has been released by the team.

Matthews hasn’t been the most productive wide receiver as he was just brought back into the mix. This past Sunday, he caught three passes for 27 yards.
With the news of Matthews release, it means both Alshon Jeffery and Nelson Agholor are almost back to full health. It also means cornerback Cre’von LeBlanc could be making his return as a roster spot is now open.
