Next stop, Philadelphia: Eagles sign RB Jay Ajayi

Sometimes it’s always the people you know and trust to help when you’re in a time of need. And, that’s exactly where the Philadelphia Eagles enlisted their trust in as they’re on the verge of bringing running back Jay Ajayi back to the Linc.
With the news this morning surrounding Darren Sproles’ season ending hip flexor injury, the Eagles needed to fill a void at running back. Filling that void will be Ajayi.
Jay Ajayi finalizing a deal with the Eagles, as @RapSheet said. We'll see how Doug Pederson plays it, but there appears to be a legit chance that he's suited up Sunday.

And, with the New England Patriots coming to town, it looks like Ajayi could play a significant role. Running back Jordan Howard is questionable with a shoulder injury, the last we knew he wasn’t cleared for contact. It’s looking like he’ll go, there’s no risking him with the schedule getting intenser later on in the season.
So, Ajayi, practically a year removed could see action this Sunday. I smell an underdog story cooking up. Ajayi could come in and impact the Eagles right away, which would be huge.
Would you expect anything less? After all, he is the JayTrain and he knows one thing, keep moving forward.
