Report: Eagles bringing in a Jay Ajayi for a visit, what’s this mean about their RB status?

Tomorrow, a familiar face returns to the Philadelphia Eagles for a visit.

Yes, a specific Super Bowl winning running back makes his way back to the Eagles’ NovaCare Complex for a team visit.

Jay Ajayi was a very good running back for the Eagles when they acquired him in 2017 on their magical run. His next season was one to forget as he went on the IR and missed the whole season after a few games with an ACL injury and back fracture.

In total, Ajayi racked up 592 yards and four touchdowns in a short stint with the Eagles. He also introduced the Eagles fan base to the very popular “No One Likes Us” chant.

This brings us to the question though, the Eagles have a crowded running back room, but with Darren Sproles on the injury report, does it mean his quad injury is more serious than made public right now?

Ajayi did very well in the Eagles system so adding him at a cheap cost isn’t a bad move. But, if all the running backs are healthy, it’s just not a move they would be doing at this point in the season.

This is just a visit, the Eagles will check up on Ajayi and if he’s all good, we could see him back in the midnight green. Stay tuned for more info as more news comes out.
