Well, another big season ending injury has hit the Eagles. This time, it has to do with wide receiver DeSean Jackson.
Jackson is set to have surgery tomorrow on a torn abdominal muscle. He missed the previous eight games with an abdominal strain. He came back yesterday versus the Chicago Bears but left after one series. He tore the abdominal muscle completely off the bone.. ouch.
#Eagles WR DeSean Jackson is having surgery to repair a core muscle injury tomorrow, sources say. Based on the timing, it appears unlikely he’ll play again this season.

The Eagles have been without Jackson all season and it’s been hurting them. They’re going to have to find another playmaker via free agency for the offense. The Eagles have to be able to stretch the field.
Going forward, it’s tough to say he’ll be able to return. He’s expected to miss atleast six weeks, so if the Eagles make the playoffs it’s possible he’ll be back. It’s a tough loss for the Eagles.
