Eagles Injury Roundup for Thursday

17 October 2019 Uncategorized

There was some suspicion as to why Fletcher Cox was missing from practice yesterday, but news broke later in the night that he was out due to an illness. As reported by Dave Zangaro of NBC Sports Philadelphia, he was back at practice today and looks to be fine for Sunday’s game.

Mills and Darby came back yesterday and everything went smoothly. They are back at practice today and both could be ready for Sunday.

Tim Jernigan is back to practice, but is limited after missing the last few weeks with a foot injury.

As reported yesterday, Jason Peters is now week-to-week and he could possibly miss a game or two. It looks like rookie Andre Dillard will get the start this Sunday against the Cowboys in place of Peters.

DeSean Jackson has improved to day-to-day but he is still being limited in what he does. He has been running and cutting and Coach Pederson said everything is on track for his recovery. He is questionable for this Sunday, but his impact would give the Eagles offense a much needed boost.

Bradham is still day-to-day with an ankle injury but the Eagles hope he will be ready for Sunday. He is a huge part of the defense and the Eagles just cut Zach Brown, so if he misses time they’ll need someone to step it up.

Alex Singleton was brought up from the practice squad yesterday, in case the Eagles are another man down. The Eagles now have five linebackers at the position, with Grugier-Hill, Gerry, Edwards, Riley and Singleton added into the mix.

Avonte Maddox is still out due to neck and concussion injuries that he received in the Packers game, after a vicious hit by teammate Andrew Sendejo. He is still week-to-week.

Darren Sproles is still out with a quad injruy that could keep him out the next few weeks. He is currently listed as week-to-week. After Clement was placed on IR and with the situation at hand with Sproles, the Eagles brought up RB Boston Scott and signed RB De’Angelo Henderson to the practice squad.
