Eagles Week 6 Injury Report: Sidney Jones expected to play; 6 players ruled OUT

11 October 2019 Uncategorized

According to Dave Zangaro of NBC Philadelphia, The Eagles have ruled out six players for Sunday’s matchup against the Vikings.

The players for ruled out for Sunday are as follows:

Corey Clement is dealing with a shoulder injury he originally got against the Falcons and it seems that it just never fully healed. Not making any excuses for him but that could have played a big part in him muffing the punt last week. He was supposed to get more opportunities on offense and in the return game, with Sproles out Sunday but now he is injured, once again.

Ronald Darby is still recovering from his hamstring injury that he got Week 3 against the Lions. This will be his third game missed and he is still considered week-to-week.

DeSean Jackson’s abdomen injury has been a tricky one. It came out of nowhere, before Week 2’s matchup against the Falcons. It was said that he may miss a game or two. This will be his fifth game missed in a row and there is still no clear timetable for return. It has been reported that he may be available next week against the Cowboys but no one really knows. Jackson brought in long-time trainer, Gary Cablayan, to help his recovery process.

Tim Jernigan is still dealing with his foot injury, that will keep him out for a fourth game in a row. His original timetable to return was to 4-6 weeks. He ahould be back in a week or two, if all goes well.

Avonte Maddox’ neck and concussion injuries will keep him out for another game, after that devastating hit from Sendejo two weeks ago.

Darren Sproles quad injury will keep him out this Sunday and for the foreseeable future. He was hurt in last week’s first half against the Jets. He is week-to week.

In related news, according to Mike Kaye of NJ.com, Sidney Jones is expected to play on Sunday against the Vikings.
