7 October 2019 Uncategorized

According to Tim McManus of ESPN, WR Robert Davis has signed with the Eagles practice squad.

Davis is 6’3″, 210 pounds and was a 6th-round pick out of Georgia State (pick 209) back in the 2017 draft. He was drafted by the Washington Redskins. He played in four games, catching 1 pass for 11 yards.

He started his rookie year on the practice squad, but found his way on to the active roster by year’s end. In 2018, he was placed on season-ending IR, with a broken tibia and a torn LCL. He was on the Redskins active roster Week 2 but was cut on October 1st.

This now puts the Eagles practice squad up to the limit of ten players. Davis is now the third wide receiver on the practoce squad, joining Marcus Green and Greg Ward.
