Sidney Jones is Day-to-Day with Hamstring Injury

According to John Clark of NBC Sports Philadelphia, Sidney Jones hamstring injury is considered day-to-day. The injury isn’t believed to be as bad as Ronald Darby’s injury which could keep him out this week’s game, as well as next week.
Given the severity of the injury Jones may only miss practice and could end up playing against the Jets.
If Jones doesn’t suit up the Eagles only have three healthy CBs on their active roster (Douglas, James, Scandrick), along with 2 CBs on the practice squad (Harris, White).
Jones has had his ups and downs this year but he’s been one of the top CBs on the team. A healthy Jones on Sunday would be great news but with the Jets looking to be without Darnold, it makes you wonder if we should take the risk.
Jones was thought to be the steal of the 2017 draft, after he dropped to the Eagles at pick 43 in round 2 out of Washington. He fell due to an Achilles injury that he suffered on his Pro Day. Since being drafted he’s played a total of 14 games.
Fans have been holding out to see if this kid could stay healthy, before they called him a bust, but things are already off to a rough start in his 4th year. I believe if he could stay healthy he could be a Pro-Bowl caliber talent, but he’ll have to prove he can stay healthy first!
