Eagles restructure Alshon Jeffery’s contract, free up cap space this season

7 September 2019 Uncategorized

The Eagles have agreed to restructure wide receiver Alshon Jeffery’s contract on the eve of the first game of the season.

This move provides the Eagles with cap relief for this season and guarantees his salary for the whole 2020 season. Jeffery is going nowhere folks.

Jeffery caught 65 passes for 843 yards and six touchdowns last season for the Eagles. He’s the clear cut number one wide receiver for another year or two.

These moves have been a staple for the Eagles as they’ve always done their players right. As well as that, they’ve freed up money in order to do more moves. There’s no saying what the money is freed up for, but with Howie Roseman, anything can happen.
