Report: Houston Texans DE Jadeveon Clowney prefers to end up on either the Eagles or Seahawks

27 August 2019 Uncategorized

The saga that is Houston Texans Jadeveon Clowney and his future took another turn today.

Per a report, Clowney prefers to end up either with the Philadelphia Eagles or the Seattle Seahawks.

Clowney hasn’t been able to agree a long term deal with the Texans. As usual, trade talk and rumors heat up and right now, things are only getting hotter.

If the Eagles were to make a move, it’s rumored the Texans are looking for offensive line help and potentially another wide receiver. Losing running back Lamar Miller for the season, it’s possible the Texans could look to add another back as well.

For the Eagles, adding Clowney to their defensive end rotation would be huge. However, being that he’s not signed long term, the Eagles could rent him for a year, but most likely, if they’re trading they’d likely want him for the immediate future.

With that being said, cap concerns are a legit thing, however, always trust in the cap god which is Howie Roseman. Adding Clowney to the Eagles roster gives them the best defensive line by far in the NFL. It’s an idea that’s very intriguing to say the least.
