Developing story: Eagles backup QB Nate Sudfeld leaves game with an air cast on his left arm

8 August 2019 Uncategorized

THIS. IS. NOT. GOOD.

During today’s preseason game against the Tennessee Titans, the Philadelphia Eagles’ backup quarterback left the game with an air cast on his left arm.

Late in the second quarter, Sudfeld was hit and landed awkwardly on both his wrists. He was seen with an air cast on his left arm, which isn’t a good sign.

He was playing well and even threw a 75 yard touchdown. The backup quarterback position is key in the NFL and if this injury is what it looks like, the Eagles will lost Sudfeld for a bit of time. That leaves the Eagles with Cody Kessler and Clayton Thorsen as their quarterback depth. The Eagles could potentially bring in another quarterback if Sudfeld is out for an extended period of time.

This is developing story, keep updated as more information comes in.
