Three things to know: EaglesCamp Day 11

The Eagles hosted their 11th training camp practice today and there was a new face in town. Here’s a brief recap of today’s practice.
- The Eagles signed Kasim Edebali and he made plays today
Edebali is a veteran in this league and brings forth a ton of experience to the defensive line. Losing Joe Ostman tore his ACL at the Eagles open practice leaving an opening at defensive end. That’s where Edebali came in and he’s making the most of this opportunity. Today he got to the quarterback frequently and got a sack on Nate Sudfeld. There’s no guarantee he makes the roster, but could be a significant depth player if he does.
2. Wentz to D-Jax heats up
The new duo, Carson Wentz to DeSean Jackson, connected today on a 50 yard touchdown. These two have shown flashes of brilliance this camp and as the season grows near, their connection is only getting better. Once these two get on the exact same page, the Eagles offense will be very dangerous. It’s going to take time, but it’s trending exactly where it should be.
3. Cornerback positional battle heats up
Today, Sidney Jones lined up primarily outside and had himself a solid day. He’s been trending upwards as well as Rasul Douglas. This leaves the Eagles with a great problem to have, who should start? Usually, with this team, it’s been who will cause the least amount of damage? But now; the Eagles have a few really solid options. As the first game gets closer and closer, it’ll be fun to watch it pan out.
