The rookie running back is currently dealing with a hamstring injury. While it’s still quite early in the season, the Eagles second-round pick will miss all of spring workouts, as he missed all of OTAs. Most importantly, it’s imperative that the team does not rush Sanders back from a hamstring injury. The Eagles still have a while to go before this becomes any type of concern, but the hope is that he’s ready for training camp in late July.
Of course the excitement is there to want to see what Sanders can bring to the table, but the Eagles are playing the waiting game with Sanders injury, which is always the right thing to do.
