The 25-year-old CB is only 7 months removed from tearing his ACL, however, Darby is ready to get back on the football and showcase his ability. Darby recently noted that he’s up to running at “22 miles an hour” and “Speed don’t go nowhere, you just gotta wake the muscles back up.”

Today was the first time Ronald Darby warmed up with the rest of his teammates since tearing his ACL and is taking baby steps to get back to where he wants to be. By no means is Darby at 100 percent, but he will be participating in training camp. As of right now, it’s unlikely if he’ll be a full participant during the beginning of training camp, but that could change at some point.
Darby sounds like he’s laser focused on getting healthy and getting back to normal. With Darby signing a one-year prove-it deal with Philadelphia, his mindset is on having a solid season, which would set himself up for a future payday in 2020.
