Mock Draft: Eagles add another weapon for Carson Wentz, draft Oklahoma WR Marquise Brown

16 April 2019 Uncategorized

The NFL draft is fast approaching and it’ll be here before we know it. The Eagles are in the position to take the best available player, and NFL.com’s Daniel Jeremiah thinks they’ll go with a wide receiver.

In his latest mock draft released today, he has the Eagles taking Oklahoma wide receiver Marquise Brown. Brown’s name has also been linked to the Eagles by SI.com’s Peter King.

Brown is a versatile wide receiver with tremendous play making ability. This past season, he caught 75 passes for 1,318 yards and ten touchdowns. While doing so, he broke records for yards per game, per half and longest touchdown as a Sooner.

Adding Brown gives quarterback Carson Wentz yet another big time weapon to work with and you can never have too many weapons. With DeSean Jackson’s long term availability a question and Nelson Agholor’s future in question, adding a talent like Brown could be a bold move. And, a move that would make sure the Eagles don’t have any questions for a vertical threat for years to come.
