On Tuesday, Adam Caplan on the “Inside the Birds” podcast had mentioned that the Eagles were in communication with Curry. With the Eagles moving on from Michael Bennett, room on the depth chart opened up for another player the Birds could possibly bring in. It looks like the Birds looked no further than former 2012 second round selection, Vinny Curry. The Eagles now solidify their depth chart across the defensive line. On paper, Brandon Graham, Fletcher Cox, Derek Barnett, Vinny Curry, Chris Long(still a ?) and Malik Jackson look like a strong group.
Last season Curry played 12 games for the Bucs, recording Curry 21 tackles and 2.5 sacks for the 2018 season.
