He’s back, I repeat, the Body Guard is back.
Just announced, the Eagles have extended and re worked left tackle Jason Peters contract, keeping him for one more season. The deal is worth up to $10 million with $5.5 million guaranteed.
Jason Peters’ new one-year contract with the #Eagles is worth a max of $10M with $5.5M guaranteed, according to his agent Vince Taylor.

When healthy, Peters is the best left tackle in football. He’s had his struggles as of late, but he’s still got some left in the tank.
Peters also adds value teaching the younger linemen on the roster the ways of the force. He’s a future hall of famer who adds great insight for them.
But, more importantly, this move solidifies Carson Wentz’s blindside. There’s no way you can go into a season with question marks at left tackle. Resigning Peters gives the Eagles much needed reinsurance.
