According to Ian Rapoport and Aditi Kinkhabwala of NFL.com, the Philadelphia Eagles have decided to bring in former Browns executive, Andrew Berry, as vice president of football operations.
The #Eagles have hired Andrew Berry as their new VP of Football Operations, per @AKinkhabwala and me. Berry was previously #Browns Vice President of Player Personnel & former Sashi Brown lieutenant. Several teams had requested him in the past, Philly is the one who gets him.

Eagles beat reporter Geoff Mosher notes that Berry will also oversee the analytics department, as we all know Howie Roseman is a big fan of marrying analytics and football.
From what I understand, Berry’s role will involve overseeing the #Eagles analytics department. https://t.co/nyjC7wsRnf

The former Harvard graduate was a four-year starter as a cornerback. After college, Berry got his start with the Indianapolis Colts as a scouting assistant back in 2009, making his way to a pro scout in 2011. Berry was then promoted as pro scouting coordinator for the Colts the following year.
Berry was originally brought to the Cleveland Browns by Sashi Brown, who hired Berry as the vice president of player personnel and he ended up staying with the Browns under new General Manager John Dorsey. During the offseason, Berry had other suitors for his services, but let’s chalk it up a win for now since he chose the Eagles as his landing spot.
