Report: Eagles vs. Vikings seems “pretty likely” for Thanksgiving this season

Are the Eagles to play away against the Minnesota Vikings this Thanksgiving???

According to a report, the Eagles are “pretty likely” to play the Vikings on Thanksgiving this season.

On the Sports Illustrated media podcast, host Jimmy Traina and guest John Ourand of the Sports Business Journal were talking about the NFL schedule when this came up.

“I didn’t actually write about this but I have head that Minnesota vs. Philadelphia is one that’s in play,” Ourand said around the 32 minute mark, adding later: “It’s not dead set, but I’m told that it’s pretty likely.”

The Eagles and Vikings have had this “rivalry” as of late which was taken to a new height when the Eagles crushes the Vikings and their chance to win the Super Bowl on their home turf.

If true, this will be the Eagles first Thanksgiving game since 2015 when they faced the Detroit Lions. For the Vikings, this will be their first time hosting a Thanksgiving game.
