Breaking News: A CT scan reveals Carson Wentz has a fractured vertebrae, no surgery is needed

13 December 2018 Uncategorized

Carson Wentz literally broke his back trying to carry the Eagles this season.

A recent CT scan revealed the Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz has a fractured vertebrae.

The Eagles are still trying to gather more information. However, it seems as if this injury will fully heal on its own over time. Hence, the reason he’d sit out the rest of the way.

The first thing that is alarming with this is the fact the Eagles did not pick up on it. Supposedly, they conducted a number of CT scans on his back to no prevail. Wentz’s back has been a problem for him since week seven, but the issue was just found now.

This brings up the big question, what is wrong with the Eagles medical staff? Running back Darren Sproles missed too much time with a hamstring injury, cornerback Sidney Jones has been hurt a lot, same goes for Jalen Mills. You can seriously question their practice now.

But back to Wentz, he’s still been playing good football. However, it’s clear he’s not at the same level he was last season. There had to be a reason for this and it’s unfortunate it is this extensive. You feel for him and wish him a speedy recovery.

As for the rest of the team, they have a road trip to Los Angeles to take on the Rams. It’ll be a much more difficult game now without Wentz, but a win could put them back in the playoff picture.
