At the moment, the Eagles are still gathering more information on the health of Carson Wentz, but it’s a possibility that Carson may have played his last down of the season for the Eagles. Back in October, Wentz was dealing with a back soreness and it seems that Carson’s back soreness has flared up again. If the team is thinking about his long term future, shutting down Carson to make sure he gets fully healthy, could be the move behind the scenes.
The Eagles signal caller could have been dealing with this injury for quite some time, which could explain why Wentz has looked off the last couple of weeks. If Wentz is continuing to compensate for his knee injury it could cause his throwing mechanics to change, leading to problems with back soreness.
As for now, “Nick Foles stans” can unite as they get to the see the Superbowl MVP under center one more time, but for Eagles fans this is just another case of the blues in 2018.
