Breakout candidate: Newly acquired WR Golden Tate is going to make a great first impression

11 November 2018 Eagles News

Tonight, under the lights at the Linc, someone’s going to step up and give the Eagles a big boost. And, that player is going to be the newly acquired wide receiver, Golden Tate.

For Tate, tonight’s game will be like just riding a bike.

Actually, even more than that, Tate is familiar to playing the Cowboys. The Cowboys played against Tate this past season and Tate torched them. He caught eight passes for 132 yards and two touchdowns. It was a masterclass by a wide receiver.

Digging deeper into this, there’s reports saying the Eagles want to get him going early on and they’re going to move him around a lot. With Tate, he’s a wide receiver who can make a play once you get the ball in his hands. After all, he’s the yards after catch kind. Before acquiring Tate, the Eagles didn’t really have a wide receiver that offered them that, but that’s exactly what they get with Tate.

After already having success with the Cowboys and now being a part of a much better Eagles team, Tate is going to have a big impact tonight. A player like Tate is going to want to get off to a great start in Philadelphia and that’s exactly what’s going to happen. Watch out Tate tonight, he’s going to show up.
