In his first three games, Jeffery has caught 18 passes for 218 yards and three touchdowns. This past Thursday, Jeffery caught eight passes for 74 yards and two touchdowns. He’s a big body wide receiver who’s an easy target for quarterback Carson Wentz.
Other than his production, let’s take a look at how he impacts the game.
Having Jeffery on the field opens up the opportunity for others. Zach Ertz has been thriving, Nelson Agholor is playing better and even Jordan Matthews is having an impact. Jeffery spreads the field and is a menace in the red zone, he’s was hugely missed through the first three games.
The best part about Jeffery is the swagger he brings to the team. Jeffery has an attitude about him that just helps elevate everyone. Jeffery came out after the game this Thursday and set the tone for the rest of the season saying, “Aint nobody f***** with us. Thats what I always say.” And, with Jeffery on the field, the Eagles haven’t had many teams messing with them.
The Eagles with Jeffery on the field are a whole new team. He elevated the play and brings the best out of everyone on the field. From Wentz to the other wife receives and tight ends, Jeffery brings them to a whole new level.
