The Eagles win, move to 3-3 after defeating Giants 34-13

11 October 2018 Uncategorized

THE EAGLES WIN AND ARE NOW 3-3.

The Philadelphia Eagles defeated the New York Giants 34-13 in a big win for the team. The team was able to win in all three phases of the game and deserved the win.

Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz was on point tonight throwing for 279 yards and three touchdowns. Eagles wide receiver Alshon Jeffery caught two of those touchdown and tight end Zach Ertz caught the other.

The run game was reignited, running for 108 yards on the day. Wendell Smallwood led the team with 51 yards and Corey Clement added 43 yards and one touchdown.

Defensively, the Eagles were solid all day, except when it came to stopping Giants running back Saquon Barkley who had a huge day. But, he wasn’t able to do it all himself and the Eagles were fine letting him rack up the yards with no end product.

Going into next week, the Eagles will have a few extra days rest which is much needed. Up next for them is the Carolina Panthers.
